Application Forms for LPU B.Tech Entrance Test 'LPUNEST 2015' now available

Jalandhar, January 23, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Application forms for LPU B.Tech Entrance Test ‘LPUNEST-2015’ are now available. LPU is to conduct ‘National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST-2015) online in 113 cities across India from March to May 2015. The scores got in the test will be considered as eligibility for admission and for scholarship upto Rs 5 Lakh per student. Under unique tie-up, LPU is also facilitating students to purchase application forms from online mega store Flip kart.

Last year more than 3 lakh applicants had registered for LPUNEST-2014 augmenting test to be the largest private entrance test including all state, central government and private tests held in India. In 2014, the test also turned out as overall 5th largest entrance test in India after JEE, AIPMT, GATE, and EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh) tests, as per the best information available till date.

LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal informed: “LPU NEST test would be conducted in online format in more than 100 cities across India. On the basis of test scores, the merit holders will not only be able to avail quality in higher education but also scholarship up to Rs 5 Lakh per student.” Mr Mittal further informed: “Keeping in view the convenience and easy reach of students, we are conducting this test online. In future, monitoring of the test will be like CAT, SAT, GRE tests. Students will seek appointments for test as per their convenient time & schedule, and the results will be available within three days on LPU website.”

Illustrative, a student qualifying LPU NEST will be exempted from appearing in other eligibility tests conducted for admissions.  Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for test and students should have either completed or shall be appearing in the final examination of twelfth in 2015.
