Today the AQ team, under the supervisoring of Ulrich Staudinger, has release the 1.3 version of the trading framework ActiveQuant.

With their first release in 2010, the team has introduce, beside the fixing of minor bugs, dedicated changes in the persistance and model layers. This changes were done to support the roadmap of AQ to become specialized class module framework instead of a "One-Download-Provides-Everything (ODPE)" framework. The class modules (Codename: AQFuture, AQStock, AQIndex and AQInstrument) were introduced during the last releases and will be updated during the next, monthly releases.

To provide a better persistence support between those classes new instruments has been added to the framework as also internal, standarized keys are available up from this release for internal data handling.

President of ActiveQuant, Ulrich Staudinger, promised to provide up from March monthly updates on the framework to be inline with the roadmap and to satisfy the new users, as also the existing customer base.
