Open Text’s Livelink Improves Processes, Reduces Costs and Increases Productivity
(I-Newswire) - Open Text™ Corporation ( NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC ), the world’s largest provider of Enterprise Content Management ( ECM ) software, today announced that Airtricity, an international leading renewable energy company, has chosen Open Text’s Livelink to provide a framework for enhanced internal collaboration and the controlled management of documentation throughout the organization and supply chain. Airtricity is one of Europe's leading fully integrated renewable energy companies, focusing in three main areas: Wind farm development, finance and ownership of wind farms and green electricity supply.
Livelink will enable Airtricity to radically improve team and organizational collaboration, both internally and externally with partners and customers. This will improve efficiency and customer service. Airtricity will also use Livelink to automate burgeoning paper and unstructured electronic media repositories, implement common filing policies and reduce the effort in storing and retrieving documents and files.

The project is in its first phase, with Controlled Document migration currently taking place and user groups going “live” as documentation is migrated. A detailed requirements gathering exercise has been completed as well as training in Livelink’s core functionality for Airtricity’s staff at several of its locations.
