Clydesdale Bank reveals newly refurbished financial solutions centre in Ayr
Clydesdale Bank has just completed a major refurbishment of its Ayrshire Financial Solutions Centre in Ayr’s Alloway Street. Managing partner Willie Mackie says it is the biggest single refurbishment that the building has undergone in the last 20 years.
(I-Newswire) - Ayrshire, Scotland, Thursday 9 November 2006 -- Clydesdale Bank has just completed a major refurbishment of its Ayrshire Financial Solutions Centre in Ayr’s Alloway Street.
Managing partner Willie Mackie says it is the biggest single refurbishment that the building has undergone in the last 20 years.
Financial Solutions Centres were launched three years ago from a standing start as part of Clydesdale’s aggressive expansion in the South of England.
They operate under local managing partners, like Willie Mackie, with a high level of autonomy from head office.
Financial Solutions Centres offer a personal, bespoke banking service for business and private banking customers disenchanted with the off-the-shelf offerings available elsewhere.
Funding packages are individually designed by dedicated managers and signed-off locally, meaning quick decisions and processing for customers.
Customers of the centres are also able to use meeting rooms and technical facilities free of charge not only locally, but also across the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank UK network, with the Bank’s sales force also actively seeking new business opportunities for them.
Willie explains: “We like to call customers members, and they have privileges including networking facilities, internet access as part of what we like to think of more as a club.”
The commercial team in Ayrshire has recently been expanded with the recruitment of 3 new Business Partners.
These are Michael Brown ( 43 ), Neil McLean ( 37 ) and Brian Hemmings ( 26 ), all recruited from other banks.
Further expansion is planned within the Agricultural and Private banking teams.
All partners have their own areas of expertise, whether it be agricultural, commercial, wealth management or asset or invoice finance, and these are brought together to meet the particular financial requirements of each individual customer.
