In a unique move for the travel industry, Leger Holidays has announced that customers will be able to go on holiday with its senior directors, offering travellers the chance to rub shoulders with key personnel from one of the leading providers of European escorted tours.
(I-Newswire) - From the managing director to the marketing and financial directors, the company features eight holidays in its just-released 148-page 2006 European Experiences brochure on which its directors and senior managers will travel.
The ‘Directors’ Choice’ idea came earlier this summer when the company was planning its itineraries for next year – most Leger staff take holidays with the company and senior staff were asked to list their favourites.
Ian Henry, Leger Holidays’ managing director, said: “We were discussing ideas for next year’s brochure, talking about personal favourites, when someone suggested that it would be great to let customers know in advance which holidays we would be going on.
“We have tended to travel anonymously in the past, but this allows customers to decide if they’d like join us. It’s a great chance for them to get up close with the key people in our company who help shape our future holidays.
“Hopefully, our holidaymakers will find this innovation not only an interesting and enjoyable addition to their break, but also of course gives them ample opportunity to have one-on-one customer feedback with us… all holiday!”
In addition to the ‘Directors’ Choice’ option, the company’s 2006 European Experiences brochure has more than 150 tours to 30 countries, includes more than 40 new holidays, has specialist battlefield, opera, sporting and walking tours and is available from October 17, 2005.
