Four Tarheel Junior Golf Tour Players Qualify for United States Junior Amateur Champinship
Four Tarheel Golf Foundation, Tarheel Junior Golf Tour Members have qualified at three different locations to play for the United States Junior Championship Title at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ. The championship is July 20-25, 2009. All four qualifiers are regular members of the Tarheel Junior Golf Tour.

Grayson Murray of Raleigh, NC took medalist honors at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary, NC with a ten-under par score of 134. Andy Knox of Cary, NC shot 139 to qualify as well. Wilson Day of Raleigh, NC qualified at Gaston Country Club in Gastonia, NC and Spencer Lawson of Raleigh, NC qualified in Albany, NY. Additionally, several Tarheel Junior Golf Tour members placed as alternates and may play in the Championship. The United States Junior Amateur is the most prestigious junior golf championship in the world. Many former champions, including Tiger Woods, have gone on to outstanding collegiate and professional careers.
