Nokia brings Presence to TeliaSonera Finland
Espoo, Finland - TeliaSonera Finland has selected Nokia to provide its solution for Presence, the service that allows mobile users to inform callers about their availability, whereabouts, and preferred means of communication.
(I-Newswire) - The first service offered by TeliaSonera Finland will be "Sonera Olotila", which is a person-to-person presence and information channel application. The service, to be launched today, can be used by all Sonera mobile phone customers at normal data transfer rates.

The Nokia solution supports Presence service based on OMA Instant Messaging and Presence Services ( IMPS ), as well as IP Multimedia Subsystem ( IMS ) based Presence, which makes Presence info available also for other multimedia services.
