Cruise 1.1 offers support for Perforce and Git, role-based security for approvals, the ability to re-run builds, and UI and performance improvements. With the release of Cruise 1.1, teams can get more visibility into and control over their build, deploy test and release process.
Cruise 1.1 provides enhanced features to support deployment management processes, such as the ability to re-run stages. This allows teams to roll back their testing or production environments to a known good build at the touch of a button. With Cruise 1.1's new role-based security, administrators can also control exactly who is able to run manual processes within Cruise, so that only authorized users can perform builds and deployments within Cruise.
An improved user interface provides increased visibility into which parts of your build, test and release process have been run for the different versions of your software. Cruise 1.1 also comes with support for Perforce and Git, two popular and widely-used revision control systems, and includes performance enhancements that allow a single server to run thousands of builds a day on build clouds built from commodity hardware with unparalleled reliability.
