A LEADING Scottish lawyer Angus Logan has welcomed a TUC report published on Friday (May 20), which shatters the commonly held myth of a compensation culture in the UK.

Findings of the TUC report included the fact that less than one in ten people made ill or injured by their work ever receive any compensation from the state or from their employers.

“The Government should give the Health & Safety Executive greater funding, resources and “teeth” with which better to regulate and prevent injuries at work.”
