Fourth "Sara, the Pineapple Cat" Children's Book is Published
David Olin Tullis announces the publication of "Stowaway: The San Francisco Adventures of Sara, the Pineapple Cat." This is the fourth in a series of children's books featuring the adventures of Sara, the Pineapple Cat.
(I-Newswire) - The fourth in a series of delightfully written and beautifully illustrated children's books featuring the adventures of Sara, the Pineapple Cat has just been published.
"Stowaway: The San Francisco Adventures of Sara, the Pineapple Cat" was written by Jill Ammon Vanderwood. It is a pleasure to announce, also, that Ms. Vanderwood was just named "2008 Utah Writer of the Year" by the League of Utah Writers.
The wonderfully perfect illustrations were created by Yvonne Ford, a talented and prolific artist whose work has been featured in many publications.
In this new book, David, Susan, one-year-old twins, Adam and Amanda, and Susan's mother decide to take a short vacation to San Francisco. Sara is supposed to stay at home. Sara, the Pineapple Cat needs a vacation, too, and has plans of her own!
The Sara, the Pineapple Cat series began with "Rooftop Rescue: The High Adventures of Sara, the Pineapple Cat" written by Anne Louise Pemberton and illustrated by Katharine Sandalls. It was followed by "Stand By Your Cat: The Unlikely Best Friends Adventures of Sara, the Pineapple Cat" by Cherokee Wyatt and illustrated by Toto Winarno. The third book in the series is "New Branches on the Family Tree: The Twin Adventures of Sara, the Pineapple Cat." It was written by Cecil Witherspoon with illustrations by Marci Mongelli.
