IMTrain is new name for The Affiliate Community ( TAC ). TAC was founded in 2006. The site was originally set up to review site various affiliate marketing programs, and offer "Recommended" programs.
The concept was that for a small fee, members could get reviews of the different affiliate programs and find out the good and bad, so they could easily find good programs to join without having to go through the review process. The concept was similar to the service offered by another popular site Associate Programs.
Over time TAC began to offer Affiliate Marketing advise, and offered training from different well known Marketers. As the catalog of training materials began to grow TAC began to offer training in more than just Affiliate Marketing is such diverse subjects as List Building, Blogging, and Web Site Design.
In the spring of 2007 well known Internet Marketing expert Steve Renner was brought on board as the Marketing Director. Under his guidance TAC has grown to be one of the premiere Online Training Services.
