Canyon Technology Releases Sport-Style Wire-Free Integrated MP3 Headset

The brand-new CN-MP6HS MP3 headset is the latest addition to the recently introduced Canyon Sports Edition series, and has been specifically designed to address the needs of outdoor sports and recreation fans preferring “cordless” devices.

(I-Newswire) - Canyon Technology, an international manufacturer of world-class computer components and peripherals, has released a new innovative uniquely-designed integrated MP3 player headset with Flash memory functionality which is targeted to consumers preferring active and mobile lifestyle. The new trendy consumer product will be available in the second half of January across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The brand-new CN-MP6HS MP3 player headset is the latest addition to the recently introduced Canyon Sports Edition series, and has been specifically designed to address the needs of outdoor sports and recreation fans preferring “cordless” devices. All products in this series feature rubber inserts providing extra protection from the elements. In addition, they sport an eye-catching snazzy orange design which not only pleases the eye of the user but also raises eyebrows of the passers-by.

The entire CN-MP6HS headset includes the MP3 player, a rechargeable battery with USB port, and Flash memory storage ( 128 or 256 MB ) packed in snazzy, comfortable, self-contained headphones. The headset does not require any additional cases or wires. Its highly intuitive control buttons are conveniently placed on the surface of each earphone, securing easy access to all features and functions. At the touch of a button, users can customize the sound with five equalizer presets ( Jazz/Classic/Rock/Pop/Normal ).
Users can quickly download MP3 or WMA files from their computers and recharge the Ni-MH battery via a single USB cable included with the device. The fully-charged battery supports 8-hour continuous playback. The unit is fully plug-and-play compatible with computers running Microsoft Windows 98 or later. In addition to the USB cable, its accessories include a software disk, and a user manual. Apart from being used as an MP3 player, the headset can obviously be used as a common USB drive supporting transfer rates of approximately 4.8 Mbps.

Guus Spruijt, Marketing Director at Canyon Technology, is upbeat about the new device’s market future: “Our innovative MP3 headset offers some unbeatable features, like brilliant production quality and reliability owing to brand-name components, compact and stylish looks, wireless all-in-one solution, and superior price/performance ratio. I am sure this unique device is going to conquer the hearts of freedom-loving sports-minded young people. No strings attached!”

In order to meet customers’ expectations ahead of the Christmas shopping season, Canyon released the first two products in its Sports Edition series at the end of November. They include a rubber-coated Bluetooth headset CN-BTH2 and an MP3 player with FM radio CN-MP3SD at an unbeatable ‘holiday’ price.

The recommended retail price for the CN-MP6 series starts at USD 59 for 128 MB of internal storage ( including VAT ). The unit is covered by 2-year limited warranty.
