Popular DC Therapy Group Expands Relationship Counseling Services and GLBT Specialization

DC Psychologists Welcome Relationship Therapist and Expert, Dr. Keith Clemson to the Popular and Gay-Affirming Team at District Psychotherapy Associates in Dupont Circle.

Dr. Keith Clemson will be joining the many-talented team of DC psychologists at District Psychotherapy Associates in Dupont Circle this week. This most recent announcement of expansion comes from Dr. Brad Brenner who founded the practice group in 2003 and serves as its Clinical Director today.

The wait list has finally been jettisoned and clients will begin claiming their prize appointment slots with Dr. Clemson beginning Saturday, July 9, 2011. Sound like rush tickets? You'd think so. But such is the demand for really good counseling and support, by fully qualified psychologists, expertly trained and--let's face it--just plain safe and easy to confide in. And up goes the ante if you also happen to be gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or transgendered. "It takes someone special to understand the unique challenges and strengths of GLBT relationships," says Dr. Brenner.

An expert in relationships, Dr. Clemson, recently of St. Louis, MO, trained with an internationally recognized world-leader in couples counseling. Additionally he's worked with many couples as they welcome new members into their families through adoption. While his expertise is grounded in over ten years of clinical experience, "it is," say his colleagues, "his warmth, humor and practical common sense that individuals, couples and families respond to, helping them navigate difficult times and get back on track."

District Psychotherapy Associates offers counseling for couples, individuals, families, and groups, as well as career testing and assessment. Dr. Brenner founded the practice in 2003, on the principle that people evolve and make lasting change by leveraging their strengths. Today, DPA is one of the fastest-growing psychotherapy practices in the entire DC metro area, with some of the most sought-after therapists. In addition to Dr. Brenner, Dr. Clemson will join colleagues Dr. Gregory Jones, Dr. Dana Treistman, and Dr. Sheetal Patel.

Appointments with Dr. Clemson, and other therapists, can be scheduled by phone, email, or visiting the website (below) and requesting a confidential contact.
