Georgia Trial Lawyer Geoff Pope Begins Presiding Over the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association

Atlanta, Georgia (I-Newswire) May 11, 2011 - The Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) inaugurated experienced trial lawyer Geoff Pope of Pope & Howard, P.C., as President of its organization at this year’s GTLA Annual Conference. His term as GTLA President began Monday, May 9th.

“I am extremely honored to be taking on the position of President, and will do my best to uphold the mission of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Associations,” Pope said.

Pope, co-founder of the Pope & Howard, P.C. Law Firm in Atlanta, is a regular in the Georgia Super Lawyer publication, and has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1993, when he earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. His areas of focus include products liability, medical negligence, and general personal injury cases.

The Annual President’s Gala featuring Pope’s official induction took place May 5th and 6th at the Loews Atlanta Hotel as part of the GTLA’s 2011 Annual Conference.
