Podcasting Drag Queen Gets Listeners Out of Bed with Personalized Wakeup Calls; Fights World Tardiness

(I-Newswire) May 17, 2005 - Minneapolis, MN - May 8, 2005 -- Wanda Wisdom, drag queen personality behind the "Lucky Bitch Radio" podcast, announced today her intent to offer listeners something no other podcaster has yet to � a personalized wakeup call. By waking listeners out of a sound sleep, the Internet celebrity hopes to fight a world pandemic of tardiness and ensure listeners are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for her daily radio show.

"People wake up late all over the world every single day. It's a tragedy," said the six-foot-two-inches-tall Minneapolis drag queen. "Besides, a lot of my listeners are slackers and computer geeks who stay up way too late looking at inappropriate things on the Internets. Beginning Monday, May 9, listeners can fill out an online request form for their free wakeup call. The first round of wakeup calls will take place Tuesday, May 31.
