PNW-ASI Hosting Its 2012 Spring Meeting June 9 At Bastyr University

The Pacific Northwest chapter of the American Society for Indexing (PNW-ASI) will be holding its spring meeting in the Seattle area on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the beautiful Bastyr University campus located in Kenmore, Washington.

The Pacific Northwest chapter of the American Society for Indexing (PNW-ASI) will be holding its spring meeting in the Seattle area on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the beautiful Bastyr University campus located in Kenmore, Washington.

The early-bird registration deadline is just a couple weeks away and accommodations on campus are still available, but it would be wise to reserve now since there will be another conference happening there the same weekend.

This is a fantastic training and networking opportunity-at a bargain rate-for indexers, taxonomists, editors, technical writers, librarians, and information specialists looking to bolster their skill set from leading industry professionals and the latest trends.

* Indexing in Adobe InDesign with Cheryl Landes
* Indexing Passing Mentions with Judi Gibbs and Cheryl Landes
* Office Fitness with Larry Swanson, LMP

When: Sat. June 9 (main day with workshops) with networking dinners on Fri. June 8 & Sat. June 9. All ASI members are welcome to attend the PNW-ASI board meeting on Sun. June 10 (time TBD).

Cost: Early-bird rate is $80 for members and $110 for nonmembers (payment rec'd BY June 1); $110 for members and $140 for non-members (payment rec'd AFTER June 1); first-timer special rate is $55 (payment rec'd by June 1)

A continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and in-room beverage service are included.
