PhotographyCorner.com Announces the Winner of Contest Corner Challenge #83: In the Background

Barrie, Ontario (I-Newswire) March 5, 2011 - Photography Corner ( www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced that Amelia Quicke is the winner of the site’s latest Contest Corner Challenge, and as such has been awarded 25 Full Sheet Tru Black-Black Core Matboard provided by BD Matboard. The recent challenge asked photographers to take a photograph where the subject is in the background (photographers were allowed to place or frame in something in the foreground, they just had to make sure the object in the background was the subject of the photograph). PhotographyCorner.com began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued throughout the year.

With over 12% of the votes from a total of 32 qualifying submissions, Amelia won the recent photography challenge CCC#82: In the Background with her photograph of the moon, framed by out-of-focus branches in the foreground. This was the first Contest Corner Challenge win accomplished by Amelia Quicke.

Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog (http://www.photographycorner.com/blog).
