OMAHA, Neb., March 1, 2010 – Omaha-based Phillips Manufacturing Co. has acquired the corner cap assets of California-based Pla-Cor® on March 1, 2010. Phillips Manufacturing, a national manufacturer of drywall finishing and framing components has taken over the corner and transition cap assets of Pla-Cor®. This acquisition includes all rights, patents and equipment providing over 50 additional profiles to Phillips’ product line.

George Kubat, President and CEO of Phillips Manufacturing Co., anticipates this acquisition to be advantageous to its customers, “The high quality, complete lines of corner caps, transition adapters and accessories was acquired in an effort to grow our extensive offering of drywall finishing accessories.
