Phillips Charitable Organizations Awards Bronx-Area Mother with Grant to Avoid Eviction

Phillips Charitable Organizations, founded by Infor CEO Charles Phillips, has awarded a grant to Rosanna Tejada to assist during a time of need.

Beaumont, TX (I-Newswire) November 1, 2012 - Phillips Charitable Organizations has awarded Rosanna Tejada with a grant to help her avoid eviction and continue to care for her daughter. Rosanna Tejada is a Bronx-area single-parent who suffered a series of financial setbacks that led to her and her daughter surviving on no income and being forced to vacate her apartment.

Rosanna Tejada faced a series of setbacks after leaving her place of employment because she needed the time to take care of her daughter. She was promised a source of income from her partner, but found herself in a situation where she became unable to rely on her partner for financial aid. To make matters worse, she got evicted from her Bronx apartment. As a result, Rosanna Tejada and her daughter had to move in with a friend until she was able to get back on her feet.

With the help of a grant from Phillips Charitable Organizations, Rosanna Tejada was able to avoid eviction and has since moved back into her apartment. Additionally, Tejada found a new job so she can now take care of her daughter on her own.
