PEPY Launch Matching Grant Campaign For New Donors

PEPY, the US and Cambodian registered, educational development NGO, has announced a new Matching Grant campaign designed especially for new donors. All first-time donations are matched, dollar for dollar, plus an extra $40 bonus added to the total.

Kralanh, Siem Reap (I-Newswire) October 10, 2012 - PEPY’s Matching grant campaign now means that a small donation can go a long way. By donating $25, PEPY receives the matched funds and an additional bonus of $40, making a total of $90 to support PEPY’s work in Cambodia. For the pupils of Chanleas Dai Junior High school, that $90 enables a student to participate in a Creative learning Class for an entire year. $90 enables that student to develop critical thinking skills and creative problem solving, and enables PEPY to provide a curriculum which fosters an excitement for learning.

The Matching Grant campaign at PEPY aims to promote new involvement with the organization, and encourages existing supporters to reach out to their own networks and find like-minded changemakers across the globe. PEPY donors are a unique group of people who are passionate about change, passionate about education, and also have an interest in responsible giving and travel. The campaign brings these inspiring people together in the PEPY network.

The money donated from the matching grant campaign will help fund PEPY’s programs, supporting education in the Chanleas Dai commune in the province of Siem Reap, and providing community development programs for the youth of Kralanh district. Read more about PEPY’s programs and their development philosophy, and discover the value of your donation in real terms on the PEPY website.

PEPY believes that positive changes are only possible when time is invested in people. The changes we want to see in the world won’t come from giving things away, or focusing on inputs rather than high quality impact. PEPY is all too aware that lack of education creates and sustains a cycle of poverty. By working both within and outside of government-funded schools PEPY aims to increase access to quality education.

PEPY’s matching grant campaign will run until 10th December 2012. However much you choose to donate, the matching grant campaign makes your money go further. Now is the perfect time to donate to PEPY and become part of the growing global network of supporters.
