Payvine Makes Collecting All Payments Personalized and Simple

Startup, Payvine, looks to capture the heart and the wallets of today’s online global freelance community with the launch of its new service.

Austin, TX (I-Newswire) March 20, 2013 - Statistics show in a world where one in three workers is considered a freelancer, temp, contractor, or other, only 40% of all freelancers have reported that often encounter issues receiving the payment owed. With this prevalent problem faced by those who opt for the freedom that being a freelancer beacons, having a simple yet personalized method of collecting invoiced amounts can be seen as an obstacle for many.

“As freelancers and creatives, we were frustrated with the range of payment options available. One day, I lost the payment check from a client while walking home from work and I swore I would never allow my forgetfulness to interfere with business again,” explains Eoin McMillan Co-founder, Payvine. “The idea of Payvine was born,” he adds.

Payvine is the brainchild of a group of freelancers that grew tired of the complicated process of getting paid for their project. Payvine has officially launched in beta and the team invites all freelancers and providers to grab their unique vanity name.

“It only takes seconds to sign up and secure your name,” explains McMillan about the process.

The Payvine group of freelancers had traveled on a bus from Mexico to San Antonio, Texas as part of the completion, StartupBus.com. The group of Raul Gonzalez, Garcia Abraham Cornejo, Jose Angel Espinoza Portillo, Ignacio Tovar, Jose Gabriel, Islas Montero, Alejandro Santamaria Arza and Eoin McMillan, had journeyed many miles to launch Payvine.net on the road. Plans for the site include having the 42 million freelancers in the United States join and have their very own Payvine page.

“You don’t need a complicated routing number or a website to collect your payments anymore, with Payvine, it’s your own personal online space where you can customized it to represent you,” adds McMillan. “It’s simple and elegant and does it well,” he continued.

“We are happy to be supported by Elance and excited for our launch. Payvine works well for anyone who wants to get easily paid, from Photographers to artists and designers to Choreographers, if you provide a service, try us out.”

Being part of the StartupBus competition where thousands had applied but only the best are selected, has helped the team look to the future and understand the inner workings of becoming the next successful startup.
