Pavaline Studios brings down to earth a film called Alienated

(I-Newswire) September 30, 2009 - Vincent Pastore’s character Gino is dealing with something bigger than the mob. It’s in the trees and in the air, he thinks it’s everywhere. Pavaline Studios created a short film that will have critics wondering what is next for the savvy independent film company in New York City. President/Executive producer Marc Dahan and producer David Allensworth are making a name for themselves and it’s stamped with approval from critics that viewed the screening. Pastore has delivered a role no one has seen and although the film’s concept is close to home for him, it is also far away, like in outer space. Handling the supporting role of his zany side kick is actor Louis Vanaria. “We are submitting the film to all of the top film festivals worldwide and I’m delighted to see what the possibilities are”, says Paul Borghese who directed the film. Sundance, Palm Springs International, AFI, SWSW and Cannes are a few of the festivals on the list that will receive screener DVD versions of the film.

The film originated from a short script (Mafia)competition and the winning writers Charles Disney and Lee Barron were flown to New York to participate in the full production of the film. “It was unbelievable to see a full film crew make our script into a movie. It is what I dreamt would happen one day,” says Charles Disney.

Viewers will be able to watch the short film Alienated as an opening for paid downloadable feature films that will be distributed. Also, Alienated is coming to a film festival near you soon.
