Patti LaBelle Spends Her Birthday At Gifting Services MTV Movie Awards Suite

(I-Newswire) June 30, 2010 - June 30, 2010—R&B crooner Patti LaBelle celebrated her 66th birthday by spending an afternoon at the Gifting Services MTV Movie Awards Gift Suite with her family.

Among the gifts Patti received at the suite were an exercise machine, a margarita maker, spa treatments, skincare products, shoes, a watch, jewelry, as well as a rare 24-carat gold-embroidered kimono.

“We like all of the products,” Patti said. “The skin care is amazing. I love the spa gift certificate and mostly the eight-day vacation!”

No sponsors or other celebrities were present at the gifting, further impressing Patti who described the suite as “private and discrete.”

The MTV Movie Awards Gifting Suite is being held until the end of June. It is a by-appointment and invitation-only gifting suite. Past celebrities gifted at the Gifting Services MTV Movie Awards Gift Suite include AnnaLynne McCord, Nicole Scherzinger, Quinton Aaron, and Snookie of Jersey Shore fame.
