Parkway Cancer Centre Celebrates Its 6th Year Anniversary

Online, November 27, 2012 (Newswire.com) - With Dr Lim Suet Wun, Executive Vice President, Singapore Operations, Parkway Pantai and Dr Ang Peng Tiam, Medical Director of Parkway Cancer Centre, gracing the event, guests were given blue cocktails with a slice of orange, representing Parkway Cancer Centre's ("PCC") colours, and had a night of fun and games as they took part in many activities.

With a roving magician delighting guests with tricks and a photo-taking booth where guests could take photos, the event kicked off with a video presentation and a speech by Dr Ang Peng Tiam. The panel of established doctors under PCC then went on stage for a toast and cake-cutting, with cakes as the first dish of the night - a symbolic gesture for guests to "eat" away their stress as "desserts" is "stressed" spelled backwards.

Many guests came forward to express their well wishes for Parkway Cancer Centre during the event. One of them was Dr Dean Koh, Senior Consultant and Director of Colorectal Clinic Associates, Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre, who shared, "To me, it is phenomenal that they (the founders) were able to start out with four people having the same goals and aspirations and be able to harness the resources to create this entity called PCC over a short period of six years. It's been a great honour and pleasure to be able to work with this great team that is Parkway Cancer Centre. Congratulations!"
