ParetoLogic Sponsors Boxer in Fight 4 the Cause

ParetoLogic has sponsored Stephanie Wray, a boxer in the upcoming 2012 Fight 4 the Cause event which is raising funds for local charities.

ParetoLogic has put up the money - it's up to Stephanie Wray to put up her dukes. ParetoLogic has sponsored the amateur boxer for her bout in the upcoming Fight 4 the Cause fundraiser. The first Victoria hosting of this international charity aims to raise money for local charities, including Power to Be, Mustard Seed, Free the Children, and the Brazilian Cultural foundation.

"I am delighted to sponsor Stephanie at Fight for the Cause," said Elton Pereira, ParetoLogic Co-Founder and Chairman. "The event promises to contribute some significant funds to worthy charities, and the emphasis on fun and fitness is something we can all get behind."

ParetoLogic may have little experience with boxing, but the company is quite familiar with three of the spotlight charities at the event: Mustard Seed, Free the Children and Power to Be. ParetoLogic has fundraised for all three organizations in recent years.

Founded in New Zealand in 2008, Fight 4 the Cause focuses not just on the night and its estimated 1,000 spectators, but on the preceding months of preparation and training of amateur boxers with coaches from Boxing BC. The boxers are not necessarily the best fighters in their class, but instead represent a complete spectrum of Victoria citizens.

ParetoLogic-sponsored fighter Stephanie Wray is one of the 24 participants, and has been driving hard to train for her time in the ring.

"For me, it's been all about building my form and physique for the fight. I hope to make my ParetoLogic sponsors proud, and look forward to facing my opponent in the ring and raising a lot of money for these great causes," said Wray.

The 2012 Victoria Fight 4 the Cause is held Saturday December 8th, in the Carson Hall, Victoria Conference Centre.
