Parallels Names BackupAgent As Technology Partner Of The Year

Parallels CEO Birger Steen announced BackupAgent as winner of the prestigious award at the Parallels Fourth Annual Partner Awards, held on the Parallels Summit that takes place on February 4-6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Parallels Technology Partner of the Year award recognizes BackupAgent as a company that has demonstrated leadership in the adoption of the Application Packaging Standard (APS) and has driven success for Parallels service provider partners.

BackupAgent and Parallels, the hosting and cloud services enablement leader, have built up a close cooperation from 2009, when BackupAgent was one of the first ISVs that developed an APS package. The integration of BackupAgent’s Cloud Backup Platform with Parallels Automation products has enabled a multi-million dollar revenue growth for both companies’ mutual customers in the past 4 years.
