Panasonic Announces Smartphone Synchronization With Home Appliances

The consumer electronics and goods manufacturer of Japan, Panasonic Corporation has announced the launch of Smart phones that will be operated in synchronization with its domestic appliances like rice cookers and ovens.

Japan (I-Newswire) July 3, 2012 - Panasonic Corporation has recently announced the launch of its two Smartphone models that could be synchronized with its home appliances like televisions, oven and even rice cookers for its operation. During a demonstration in Tokyo, the firm amazed the audiences by transferring cooking recipes and settings from the phones to the cooking electrical appliances respectively with RFID chips.

Besides this, the products can also receive video footages from a digital recorder and can send images to television sets with any wireless platform. The company then went on to announce that the products will hit the Japanese market during this summer and will be unveiled as a part of Eluga line with services from Japan’s major mobile service provider, NTT Docomo.

However according to the company sources, the Eluga line of Smart phones will be available with 4.6 inch and 5.0 inch screen displays and will be powered by the latest version of Google’s Android 4.0 operating system. The report also mentioned that the devices will run on 1.5 GHz dual core processors with 1GB memory RAM. Measuring 5 inch in length, the smart phones will support high-speed LTE data network provided by Docomo and will also feature a quick charging option that will charge 50 % of the battery in half an hour. However, keeping both the products friendly with Panasonic home appliances, so that they can be charged from any wireless platform that the company has introduced in its household electrical appliances.

It is also reported that Eluga has launched its series of Smart phones and Tablets earlier this year outside Japan and has received an overwhelming response. With this new announcement, Panasonic believes that its Smart phones will differentiate itself from an assorted range of Smart phones available in the market with its unique house hold appliances compatibility feature.
