Other Edition Presents Penelope Cruz the Stunning Cover Celeb for V Magazine

Just to give some idea of how strong the 1960’s feel is for the coming season: almost any one of these photos could pass for an archival photo of that exuberant point in the 1960’s when many east Asian societies underwent momentous change. Olins’ camera effectively re-enacts that very particular time when many young women discarded traditional cultural aesthetics and succumbed to western-style pop mania and even started producing their own girl groups too.

Transformation of a much more personal nature is inherent in Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin’s stark shoot, styled by Nicola Formichetti, of Nomi Ruiz, the Amazonian transgendered siren of New York’s music underground.
