OPSHID Heralds the Hijra New Year with Construction of 10 Shiddiqiyyah Livable Homes
The Shiddiqiyyah Youth Organisations (OPSHID) ushers the coming of the New Islamic Calendar Year with the building of 10 Shiddiqiyyah homes.
Online, November 21, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The month of Muharrom bears a great significance to the Moslem community. It is believed to be the time when the Prophet Muhammad left Mecca for Medina in order to be far away from The Quraish trying to kill him. In Islamic words, it is called as "Hijrah," which has been the basis for the beginning of Islamic Calendar.
As the Tahun Baru Hijriah or Hijra New Year nears, the Youth Organization of Shiddiqiyyah (OPSHID) from the Islamic Sufism Shiddiqiyyah Orders celebrates the glorious history of struggle in Islam. As of November 6th, 2012, the OPSHID Great Master has instructed the youth organization to celebrate New Islamic Year by building Shiddiqiyyah Livable Home (RLHS).
Located at Plandaan District, Jombang, East Java, the RLHS program is an official act by OPSHID to proclaim community building for the sake of the better Great Indonesia. OPSHID Chapters throughout Indonesia will hold a special program for the RLHS project.
"There are many secrets and linkages between Hijrah and Sumpah Pemuda or Youth Oath," says Mr. M. Subkhi Azal, The Chairman of OPSHID. "The RLHS project is highly important to the 55 Moslem countries all over the world in remembering Hijrah, when Islamic worlds were caught in darkness."
The Tasyakuran Tahun Baru Hijriyyah dan Sumpah Pemuda project is seen as a great opportunity to acquire "hikmah" or wisdom. Historically, OPSHID has built 20 houses spreading through many districts in Jombang. The next 10 RLHS units will be the final peak of all related events held this year.
Started on Dzulhijjah, 23th, 1433 or November 8th, 2012, the RLHS project has benefited a number of families and individuals from the Moslem community, including Fathur 37-year-old Fathur from Bululowo; 65-year-old Kaselin from Puri Semanding; 70-year-old Tasemo from Ngayun; 50-year-old Sunardi from Jambe; 59-year-old Lati from Sembung; 48-year-old Sipat from Bangsri; 50-year-old Supari from Plandaan; 58-year-old Klemprak from Klagen; 50-year-old Sugeng from Ngulakan; and 38-year-old Puspa Warum from Kalirejo. The ten people come from different village in Plandaan District, Jombang, East Java.
