Online Retail Store PonyUP! Kentucky Launches

Lexington, KY (I-Newswire) August 9, 2011 - PonyUP! Kentucky today announces the launch of its “Heroes for Horses” contest.

PonyUP! Kentucky supports the important work of caring for rescued and retired horses in need, by providing unique, equestrian-style handbags for horse women. For every handbag that is sold, one is donated to a horse rescue operation to be auctioned or sold at fundraising events.

As a result, PonyUP! Kentucky’s focus on horse rescue is ideal for this contest.

The PonyUP! Kentucky team is looking for the best horse rescue stories. Horse rescue is wide-ranging: saving healthy horses from slaughter and finding them good homes or establishing a horse rescue operation. Rescuing injured or ailing animals from auctions or abusive situations. And, of course, providing dignified retirements for horses that have lived a life of service.

The contest is open to those who have helped a horse in need in any way, or know someone who has done so. Email entries to sales@ponyupkentucky.com. The deadline for entries is 5 pm EST August 15, 2011. The five winners will be selected at that time and the PonyUP! Kentucky team will post these great stories on www.ponyupkentucky.com and feature them on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
