VRCA is a fully integrated information system, which enables European member states (countries) to comply with the VAT refund directive of the European Commission (2008/9/EC). VRCA embeds IBM software components, namely WebSphere Process Server and DB2. After a strict validation process by IBM, VRCA acquired two different accreditations, namely the 'Government Industry Framework' and the 'Ready for DB2'.
