Individuals who often find themselves needing technical support with their computers may now be able to get that support much easier than they have in the past. Citrix Systems has launched a new piece of software called Go To Assist. This software is

(I-Newswire) March 15, 2010 - Dallas, Tx – March, 14 2010 – Individuals who often find themselves needing technical support with their computers may now be able to get that support much easier than they have in the past. Citrix Systems has launched a new piece of software called Go To Assist. This software is designed to make the technical support process much easier on both the user, and the technical support agent, by allowing the agent to have remote access to the user’s computer.

In an interview, David Nance from go2assist.net stated, “In the past this software was extremely expensive, and that cost was usually reflected in the support agents prices. Now, however, the software is affordable to everyone, and will pretty soon take off like a wild fire. As time goes on, more and more users, and agents will begin using this software, because of its convenience and ease of use. Once that happens, I see Go To Assist being one of the most widely used means of providing technical support for software-related issues.”

Erica Greer, marketing rep for go2assist.net says, “It’s going to be nice once there are a lot of agents providing support through the Goto Assist software, because that will keep many of the agents honest when it comes to their pricing.
