Oakwood Escrow Hosts A Community Wide St. Patrick’s Day Party

All Proceeds to Benefit the American Cancer Society, ‘Relay for Life’

San Diego (I-Newswire) March 8, 2013 - Oakwood Escrow is gearing up to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day next Thursday, March 14th with a community wide St. Patrick’s Day party.

The event will include complimentary green drinks, corn beef tacos, live music and green desserts. There will also be raffle and silent auction items with all proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society’s ‘Relay for Life’.

At the St. Patrick’s Day event you will have the chance to buy a luminaria bag that will light the way around the Relay For Life track. These bags are to honor loved ones whose lives have been touched by cancer.

There will also be a donation box at the front door for small stuffed animal donations. All of the stuffed animals that are collected will be given to the nurses of Rady’s Children’s Hospital to disperse to the hospital bound children.

During the Relay for Life each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer. Relay For Life participants and donors remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those battling the disease by dedicating luminaria bags.
