O'Charley's Announces Winners of Greatest Grad Contest

12 graduates receive special graduation celebration. One grand prize winner receives an Apple® iPad

Nashville, Tenn. (I-Newswire) June 3, 2012 - Today O’Charley’s announced the 12 winners of the “Greatest Grad Contest.” The Greatest Grad Contest, which ran April 16-May 18, 2012, allowed O’Charley’s guests and fans to nominate anyone who will graduate this year from any educational program at any level. In five weeks, O’Charley’s received more than 2,400 nominations through either the O’Charley’s Facebook page or the O’Charley’s website.

“The response was incredible, and the nominations and stories we received during the Greatest Grad Contest were overwhelming,” said Marc Buehler, president of O’Charley’s. “It is truly inspiring to read the many stories of perseverance, determination and hard work. We received nominations honoring graduates from across the country and from varied backgrounds and education levels –and even from many age brackets with graduates ranging from five to 72 years of age.”

The 12 Greatest Grad winners will each receive a special graduation celebration at their local O’Charley’s. Each winner has also moved on to the final phase of the contest where the public can vote on their favorite Greatest Grad via the O’Charley’s Facebook page. Voting is open from June 1 to 30, and the individual with the most votes will be the grand prize winner and will receive a new Apple ® iPad.
