On 1st April 2014, Now Laugh launched a new website selling fun and quirky novelty gifts. To celebrate and coincide with the launch of the new site, Now Laugh offers the chance for all visitors to win any one of their products.
Social shopping has now become the norm, adding a new facet to shopping online. Shoppers are now routinely sharing products that they like on social sites, such as Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter. This new element of the shopping experience means e-commerce companies must either embrace social media or risk losing out on potential business.
Now Laugh Owner Richard Trasler states "we wanted to create a shopping experience which is not only fun and user friendly for the shopper but also allow the visitor to share products which they discovered and find humorous with their friends and family on their own social networking platforms".
In regards to social networking, out of all internet users 67% are using social networks. Some of the latest insights from Pew Research centres reveal that women, on average, spend 9% more time on social networking sites than men.
