Norwich-Based Gas Servicing Company Rolls Out New IT Platform

People of Norwich will be able to benefit from cutting-edge technology emaployed a locally based gas servicing company, Gasway.

Norwich (I-Newswire) October 26, 2012 - Gasway, a Norwich based gas servicing company , have stolen a march on their industry rivals by issuing all of their engineers with state of the art Microsoft based tablets.

After investing heavily in untried technology within the gas servicing industry Gasway has revealed the main benefits of their portable devices are energy savings for customers and a fault finding diagnostic tool to establish the cause of boiler breakdowns.

The platform works by connecting to the boiler's printed circuit board and using a direct link to most boiler manufacturers. For servicing this enables boilers to be calibrated exactly as the manufacturer has specified. For many customers this could mean savings on their energy bills of five per cent or more.

The same process also applies to breakdown diagnosis. Because the tablets connecting directly to the boiler almost 90 per cent of problems can be diagnosed within ten minutes. This has delivered significant time savings for customers and engineers, while aslo eridicating any need for trial and error fault finding. This has again delivered significant cost savings to customers.

The benefits are not solely customer focussed though. This breakthrough technology has improved staff efficencies and also boosted the company's revenues.
