North Shore Women's Rugby Defeats Amoskeag to Remain Undefeated


North Shore Women's Rugby, announced today that the team remains undefeated after their win against Amoskeag Women's Rugby.

Lynn, Ma (I-Newswire) September 24, 2012 - Janine Wuschke, President of North Shore Women's Rugby, announced today that the team remains undefeated after their win against Amoskeag Women's Rugby. North Shore Women's Rugby beat Amoskeag 51-0. Tries were scored by Morgan Roberts, Michelle Noone, Lindsay Costa and Kerry O'Neill. North Shore's record is now 3-0 and they hope to ad to the win streak next weekend when they take on Saratoga Women's Rugby Club in Saratoga, NY. "We worked together as a team and made things happen. Our scrums were very strong and it allowed us to play with a clean ball which resulted in several tries. We are looking forward to playing in the championship match for division three." says Wuschke.

The North Shore Women's Rugby Club (NSWRC), located north of Boston, was created in the Fall of 2004 and is in Division III of the New England Rugby Football Union. NSWR was originally formed as an extension of the North Shore Men’s Rugby Club, with the intent of creating an environment for veteran and new players alike to learn and love the sport of rugby.
