Nokia brings Presence to TeliaSonera Finland

(I-Newswire) June 29, 2005 - The first service offered by TeliaSonera Finland will be "Sonera Olotila", which is a person-to-person presence and information channel application. The service, to be launched today, can be used by all Sonera mobile phone customers at normal data transfer rates.

The Nokia solution supports Presence service based on OMA Instant Messaging and Presence Services (IMPS), as well as IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) based Presence, which makes Presence info available also for other multimedia services.
