Inc. magazine named the company to its 2013 Inc. 5000 list, a compendium of the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing private companies in America based on a three-year period of growth. As a result of its 134% revenue growth rate, Newton Consulting ranked 2,617 out of 5000 companies nationwide, 81 of the top 100 companies in Pennsylvania, and 196 in the business products and services industry nationwide.
The company, based in Claysville, Pa., was founded by Rick Newton in 2003. The company has grown to more than $20.1 million in revenue, 86 employees, and offices in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and London.
The Pittsburgh Business Times selected the company to its 2013 Pittsburgh 100 list of western Pennsylvania's fastest growing, privately held companies as a result of its 73% revenue growth in a two-year period. Newton Consulting ranked at 12 in the professional services industry and 51 overall.
This is the fourth year in a row Newton Consulting has been named to both the Inc. 5000 and the Pittsburgh 100.
