Online, March 1, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Adrian Ballintine, the CEO of NewSat, will grace the 2012 World Teleport Association's Teleport Awards for Excellence ceremony during a company-sponsored luncheon on March 13, 2012. The ceremony will be one of the highlights of the Satellite 2012 Conference at Walter E. Washington Convention Centre, Washington, DC, USA. Ballintine was the winner of WTA's 2011 Teleport Executive Award.
The Teleport Executive of the Year Award honors business leaders in the field of satellite communications industry . The winners exhibit exemplary entrepreneurial skills, leadership traits and creativity in addressing major challenges faced by the teleport and satellite communications industry.
Having achieved a customer retention rate of 99% and teleport uptime rate of 100% in 2010, Ballintine bagged the award last year. His company, NewSat, is Australia's only locally owned satellite communications and teleport provider. It started as a software venture, then evolved into a global satellite communications carrier, serving 8 vertical sectors to date.
