New York Medical Services Opens 5 New Locations. New York Medical Services is a medical referral service whose offices include: physical therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and pain management doctors throughout New York City.

New York Medical Services has recently opened up 3 new Brooklyn physical therapy locations, and 2 new Bronx physical therapy locations; "Despite a slow economy it has been encouraging to se these new businesses openening up in well needed communities," says Kenneth Toby President of New York Medical Services.

The Brooklyn physical therapy offices are located in 522 Lefferts Ave, Brooklyn, New York 11225, 1491 Broadway 3rd fl., Brooklyn, New York 11221, and 1839 Pitkin Ave. Brooklyn, New York 11212. 522 Lefferts Ave. will be serving the Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, and Brownsville neighborhoods, 1491 Broadway will be serving Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Ridgewood and Glendale neighborhoods, and 1839 Pitkin Ave. will be serving the East New York, Cypress Hills, and Brownsville neighborhoods.

The Bronx physical therapy offices are located in 4014 Boston Road Bronx, New York 10475, and 8 Clinton Pl Bronx, New York 10453. The 4014 Boston Road location will be serving North Bronx neighborhoods such as COOP City, Eastchester, Williamsbridge, and Mount Vernon, Yonkers, and New Rochelle in the neighboring Westchester County. The 8 Clintin Pl office will be serving Mt. Hope, Fordham, and University Heights neighborhoods.

All offices accept private insurance, HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and New York State no fault insurance. Although they focus primarily on physical therapy, 1491 Broadway (Brooklyn)also has an in house Cardiologist, and Pediatrician.

"There were a startling number of physical therapy offices closings in early 2012. In early 2013 we are begiining to see more doctors open up new medical offices," says Kenneth Toby. "This is a cycle that we have seen before in this industry" continues Mr. Toby."Hopefully we will see more physical therapy offices open up in key areas throughout the city."

The next step for New York Medical Services is to start an in home physical therapy service for out patients who cannot leave their homes. "With hospital stay durations becoming shorter, it would be cost effective to serve patients at home," says Kenneth Toby. "We get a lot of calls for this service and it seems like the next logical step in modern medical care."
