New York Design Company Honored for Design Excellence

Karen Spencer Design Company of New York Receives Two Awards at Prestigious ACW Big "W" Awards Gala

Karen Spencer Design, Inc., a full-service New York design company, received two Big "W" awards at the Advertising Club of Westchester's (ACW) Big "W" 2009 Awards Gala held recently at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill, Tarrytown, NY. The announcement was made by Karen Spencer, President/Creative Director, Karen Spencer Design, Armonk, NY.

Karen Spencer Design received a Gold award in the category of Direct Response, Direct Mail - Consumer (campaign or single) for their Westchester Community College "When High School Is Over" direct mailer and a Bronze award in the category of Media Design, Magazine, Newspaper, Supplement Design for their What To Do Media "Summer, Fall, Spring" brochure.

Karen Spencer Design has won more than fifty local, national, and international awards in the past several years, including awards for print and website design. Clients include Pfizer, Inc., Siemens Diagnostics Medical Solutions, Bayer Corporation, Westchester Community College, Iona College, John Meyer Consulting, The Greenwich Film Festival, Castle Brands, and The New York Blood Center as well as many small and mid-sized firms. Ms. Spencer currently advises SUNY Purchase student interns and has been an adjunct professor in graphic design at Elizabeth Seton College. Prior to establishing Karen Spencer Design, she served as senior art director for PW Communications, Inc., New York, New York.
