“New Year, New You” Body Transformation Contest Kicks Off With The “Secrets to Fat Loss” Workshop

Shore Results fitness training studio will kick off its first Body Transformation Contest - for which the prize is $4000 - with a free workshop on “The Secrets to Fat Loss”.

The workshop is open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, January 15th at 7:30pm at Shore Results in Atlantic Highlands. This free event will cover the latest scientific research on what works best to support your New Year's resolution of fat loss! Topics will include what you need to know about nutrition to get the most effective results, what foods to eat to lose fat, the best types of exercise for fat loss, why people fail and what you can do to make sure you succeed. New Year, New You Body Transformation Contest

Participants will compete in teams of four people. The team with the biggest change in body fat composition will win $4,000. That’s $1,000 for every person on the team. The winning team will be announced at the New Year, New You Finale Party to be held on March 28th. Shore Results will celebrate everyone’s success and write four checks for $1,000 to the winners!

Starting and ending weigh-ins are done on a very high-caliber body-fat-testing machine called the “Inbody”, which displays exactly how many pounds of fat, how many pounds of muscle and how many pounds of water are in your body.

There are three weigh-ins throughout the contest, and the only important numbers are how many pounds of fat are lost (1 point) and how many pounds of muscle are added (2 points); not how many pounds on the scale.
