New Year For Charities In 2013
Charities had a rough time through the double dip recession, however since the UK emerged from the recession, charities have been looking forward, and now 2013 presents a new lease of life for all UK charities.
Nottingham (I-Newswire) January 8, 2013 - Charities had a tough time through the recession, so much so that many smaller and less heard of charities were forced to close down, with no other charities there to support the causes they were supporting. Thankfully however, the UK emerged from the double dip recession in late 2012, as reported by the BBC at the time, meaning people didn’t need to watch their money quite as much, and charities were free to think of new ways to get people to donate to them.
2013 brings a new opportunity for charities, with a whole year ahead to use to try and get people to donate to them through both donations and sponsored events.
Bonnington Plastics are excited about 2013, and the prospects it holds for charities. A Customer Service Representative for the company added, “charities are feeling a lot more optimistic about getting more donations from people in 2013, and they have every reason to. Now people aren’t watching their money as much, they can begin to think about the charities they supported before the recession, and go back to donating regularly. Other people might begin to donate to charity in light of having more money than they need, now they’ve learnt to live on a lot less.”
Still to come in 2013 are a series of marathons, walks, and other fundraising events that will be organised for around the year. These events will help charities to get back on their feet and progress further with the plans they have for helping their causes. Part of every charity’s plan is to acquire donations from the local area by sending out donation bags and picking them up a few weeks later. These bags are manufactured by Bonnington Plastics, which is how they are able to stay in touch with the charity industry.
Bonnington Plastics is a wholesaler and manufacturer of charity bags based in the UK. They operate closely with charities to ensure they produce the highest quality charity bags to the exact specification of the charities they are producing it for.
