New Winter Mini Mondays at Walnut Creek's Lindsay Wildlife Museum

Walnut Creek, CA (I-Newswire) December 3, 2013 - Lindsay Wildlife Museum (LWM), http://wildlife-museum.org/, is pleased to announce the next dates for the popular "Mini Mondays" at the museum.

What: On Monday, December 16 and Monday, January 27, children from 2-5 years old become naturalists as they experience live animal encounters. The two-hour program allows little ones to explore different animal species through arts, crafts, activities and more. Nut-free refreshments are provided. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Registration is not required.

Where: Lindsay Wildlife Museum, 1931 First Ave., Walnut Creek, adjacent to Larkey Park.

When:
• Monday, December 16 ; 10 a.m. - noon with Nature in Winter. How do animals stay warm and cozy?
• Monday, January 27 ; 10 a.m. - noon with Home in the Dirt. What animals call the ground home and what are they up to in there?

Cost: $8/members, $15/non-members, $5 each additional child age 2 and older.

September 21-June 15: Wednesday-Friday 12 PM-5 PM, Saturday-Sunday 10 AM-5 PM
June 18, 2014-Labor Day: Wednesday-Sunday 10 AM-5 PM
Please note a special holiday hours:
Dec. 23 - January 5 Open 10 - 5 pm; Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve 10 - 2; Closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Admission is free for members and children under 2 years old, $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors 65+ and $6.50 for children 2 -17.
