New Generation Of Doctors Contributing To Online Health Initiative To Raise Awareness Beyond Borders

A new platform has made it possible for future doctors to get closer to larger public. Started in 2010, iValueHealth.NET was launched online in the beginning of 2012 to respond, among others, to the needs identified in the medical students’ community.

Since its launch last year, hundreds of medical students and future doctors have joined the platform and contributed to enriching its content. “Their feed-back is rather positive and most of them see real potential in linking up to their future patients via the platform”, said the founder of the project. “We want to give medical students the opportunity to make their voice heard by making use of new technologies, from staying in touch with patients and exchanging private messages to sharing research work within the medical community. We are persuaded that this is the way to drive the change in the healthcare sector that is still lagging behind from an IT standpoint”, added the founder.
