New e-Commerce Website Has The Part-Time & Volunteer Groundsman In Mind
Rigby Taylor has launched a new e-commerce website targeted at bringing their range of professional quality turf maintenance products to part-time and volunteer groundsmen
(I-Newswire) May 18, 2010 - Rigby Taylor, a leading supplier of turf management products under the company's well established MASCOT brand, has launched a new e-commerce website that is directly targeted at bringing their range of professional quality products for the construction, maintenance and improvement of sports, amenity and landscape areas to part-time and volunteer groundsmen.
Many volunteer groundsmen work outside of office hours, making it hard for Rigby Taylor’s team of reps to keep in touch with them the way they would a groundsman at a professional club. The new e-commerce website is intended to address this by making the range of Rigby Taylor products available to buy online whilst offering a wealth of useful information to help identify and diagnose any problems they may be experiencing.
The ‘Knowledge Base’ area of the website contains a Glossary where common diseases and problems are described in detail and Treatment Calendars give information on what groundsmen should watch out for at different times of the year. A ‘Live Chat’ facility allows visitors to the website to discuss technical information, product details and advice with Rigby Taylor staff and the ‘Ask The Expert’ page allows people to upload a photo of their turf or amenity care problem for diagnosis. If a sports club would like a visit from one of Rigby Taylor’s team of 50 reps they can use the website’s ‘Request A Rep Visit’ form.
