St Julians (I-Newswire) January 27, 2012 - Chiara Ellul has been recently appointed Director of Sales at Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa. Ms. Ellul graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Hospitality (BBA) from Glion Hotel School in Switzerland back in 2004. She started her very promising career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in May 2005 when she had the opportunity to learn various aspects of a premium property’s operations by working within catering, events and the sales departments. Ms. Chiara Ellul then extended her professional path overseas when she flew to Australia to complete her experience at the Westin in Sydney. There she gained further knowledge within the groups and leisure segments of the hospitality industry. When she returned to her native island, Chiara Ellul obtained the position of Corporate Sales Manager at the Westin Dragonara Resort - a Starwood Property, and rendered her professional services as such for the past two years and a half.

Ambitious,positive, passionate and determined, Ms. Ellul always seeks for learning opportunities to back-up her ambitious professional growth. She recently participated in the Advance Tourism Higher Management Course, receiving the expected diploma but most importantly being selected for the overseas field visit that took place in Scotland last November 2011.
