New CollabNet Subversion Edge Incorporates Subversion 1.7, Simplifies Upgrades and Backups

CollabNet Subversion Edge 2.1 incorporates the soon-to-be-released Apache Subversion® 1.7 code. Its browser-based console for Subversion management now adds functionality for scheduled backups and for simplified (dump / load) repository upgrades and migrations. New in Apache Subversion 1.7
The defining feature of Subversion 1.7 is a major infrastructure upgrade, including a completely redesigned working copy library that delivers enhanced performance, with some users reporting that their most common operations are faster by an order of magnitude. In addition, more than 150 other significant improvements were made to the previous version.
