About the Author: For over five years, the author and her husband waited to adopt a child from China and finally their long-awaited baby girl came home to join her parents and special big brothers. Due to the author’s love of flowers, the author wanted to share a story of adoption in this cheerful and colorful book set in the garden. Jan Marie Combs resides with her husband in Norton, MA, with their three children, two biological boys and an adopted daughter from China. As an adoptive parent, Jan Marie Combs, intends this book to be an inspiration for other families with biological and adopted children and wants to share the message that one’s roots will grow strong where they are planted and with love will blossom year after year.
